“I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank BF Adventure for the valued ongoing support for […] during such a difficult time for him. I felt that BF Adventure was accommodating of his needs and showed a genuine interest in his welfare. I know he really enjoyed his time with you. I will look forward to working with you in the future.”

Skills for Life

The Programme

Our Skills for life programme is dedicated to providing young people aged 7—16 with an alternative education provision.  We create bespoke, co-produced programmes built around individual need and utilising our 60+ acre site.  We use a host of activities which provide challenge and experiences that are key in building self-esteem, critical thinking and improving social and personal skills.  Learning differently helps young people build capacity to change and improves their outcomes.  Our goal is to provide young people with support in developing resilience and effective coping strategies for dealing with the stress of life.

We can help!!!

If young people:

  • Need a boost in confidence
  • Are experiencing difficulty in school
  • Struggling with peer relationships
  • Going through a difficult transition
  • Need support in developing coping strategies

We have many years of experience working with young people in crisis, providing a safe space to challenge and build skills which impact on outcomes.  We provide detailed reports on our progress and work alongside other professionals to ensure that we provide the best possible service, placing the young person at the center of everything we do.
