We want to celebrate 25 years of BF Adventure and have built a NEW kitchen block in the middle of our stunning site

As part of our many focused programmes which support disadvantaged and disabled young people and adults we focus upon life skills starting with the basics of looking after ones-self, making a hot drink, washing up, washing clothes and preparing a meal.

We have taken this one step further developing a highly effective programme which supports entrepreneurial skills in the Kitchen, Young people plan a menu, take orders from the team, write a shopping list, manage their budget in the local ASDA supermarket, prepare, cook and serve the meal and even collect the bill reconciling monies taken and donating profit back into the BF charity tin which further supports the work we do - a real win win for everyone especially those of us enjoying a delicious home cooked lunch on site!

The kitchen is also vital for onsite residential groups and for the team and their endless supply of warming drinks!

BUT we've relied upon a donated Porta cabin for over 20yrs to house the kitchen and its rapidly disintegrating - so we sent out an appeal and the ladies of the Helston-Lizard Inner Wheel rose to the challenge and our campaign began...

To find out more about how the Ladies of the Inner Wheel and the Rotary clubs have helped this incredible project, watch this short video filmed by Shane Soloman from the Sky Cornwall Channel

The build has now been completed and we need to thank YOU for making all the difference, giving a little back to help build the future  for the young people of Cornwall. We shall be running more projects and always need funds, volunteers and support. PLEASE get in touch if you would like to help.
