Santa Challenge/Quarryathon 2013 - Sunday November 17th
We've changed the date as the North Pole has been in touch and they want us to run a Santa Bootcamp to ensure everyone's ready for the Big day
BF Adventures unique Challenge event:
Teams of 4, Min Age 14yrs (No maximum!)
(Teams of 3 allowed with time penalty)
Start times -From 11am through to 3pm
Wanted – Santa’s and their team of elves or reindeer – to take on our challenge of delivering presents whatever obstacles lie in your path; flying through the air, navigating across land and crossing over water! Teamwork and problem solving will be tested before you descend down the chimney to deliver your presents.
Approximate duration 60-90 minutes,
The course will involve aspects of all BF Adventures outdoor activities; flying through the air, travelling over water, navigating around the site and solving challenges all whilst working together as a team. A moderate level of fitness would be an advantage but it's not essential as in this race the hare could easily lose to the tortoise!!
We keep the actual course route and challenges involved a secret until it's too late and you've already started.....

Time bonuses will be awarded for fancy dress, for the amount of sponsorship raised, for team spirit and overall amount of 'FUN' had by the team members - to be judged/awarded by BF instructors/race marshal's.
Equipment required - footwear to handle rough terrain, outdoor clothing (waterproofs if it's wet), fancy dress (not essential though there is a prize for the best team and you do gain more bonus points!). There is the possibility of a dunking so a change of clothes and a towel may be required (Hot showers and changing facilities will be available).
Entry fee: £40 per team plus a recommended minimum sponsorship of £60 (This can be split 50:50 between BF Adventure and a charity of the teams choice - its Children in Need on the 15th!)
What's included: Hot drinks, Mulled Wine & Mince Pies all round and an afternoon BBQ (Free to Finishers and available for £5pp for any supporters) after the awards ceremony - Approx. 5pm
