Our Activities
Linked to the PSHE curriculum, our activities are designed to build confidence, resilience, wellbeing, relationships and communication. We follow a Challenge by Choice model, meaning that every child can stretch their comfort zone at a level which suits them, so that everyone can leave with a sense of achievement. Barriers are broken down, friendships are built and lifelong memories are made. Fun and safety are central to everything we do!

Zip-lining
Our accessible zip wires are great for children to bond whilst stepping off the platforms and soaring through the air together. This is a fun way to enjoy great views and build confidence! There’s also a non accessible Zip Wire Safari for secondary pupils.

Outdoor Climbing/Abseiling
Pupils can scale our quarry climbing walls, feeling a sense of achievement whilst developing communication and teamwork by taking turns to belay. Whilst abseiling, pupils overcome fear, learn technique and gain confidence. Accessible abseiling ramp available.

Indoor Climbing/Abseiling
We have a range of exciting climbing routes available on our indoor climbing wall in the adventure barn. These are fantastic for engaging children of different ages and abilities. This is perfect for wet weather and can be adapted to be accessible.

Quarry-steering
This is particularly good for secondary schools! Pupils can scramble up our quarry walls and leap off rock ledges and platforms of various heights into the water. This is great for them to test and stretch their limits whilst building confidence and resilience!

Raft Building
Pupils are tasked with building rafts and having the fun of trying them out in our gorgeous water-filled quarry! This is an excellent way to build perseverance, problem solving skills, communication and teamwork, as well as overall confidence in the water.

Kayaking & Canoeing
Based in our water-filled quarries, this is fantastic for learning paddling technique and building communication skills. With optional races and games, it’s also great for building friendships and some healthy competition whilst having lots of fun!

Giant Catapulting
Get your pupils building teamwork, communication and problem solving skills as they design and build giant catapults! They’ll then take turns to fire tennis balls at targets across the field. This activity is immensely fun and offers a great challenge.

Adventure Quarry
Our fun and unique teambuilding games and problem solving challenges across our quarry are brilliant for building communication and confidence. Pupils will navigate obstacles across the water and rely on each other to not get wet!

Water Slide!
Come and enjoy our super fun water slide! This is great for making amazing memories and pushing new limits, whilst cheering on peers.

Archery Games
As well as developing aiming skills and focus, our archery courses include team games for some healthy competition! The archery games include ‘baking cakes’ and ‘making pizza’, with pupils getting to cheer on their teams!

Orienteering
Pupils will get to navigate around our stunning site, building teamwork, problem solving, communication and important life skills!

Low Ropes
During this session, pupils’ communication and problem solving skills are drawn upon to navigate our purpose built course. This is super fun and highly engaging for everyone!

Underground Tunnels
Step back in time, descend into darkness and take on our top secret maze…warning you may get lost! Linked to the WW2 curriculum, this is excellent for building communication, teamwork and problem solving – all whilst conquering some fears!

Via Ferrata (secondary only)
Venture through our historic granite quarries! Scale cliff faces, brave our 70m long High Wire Bridge and finish with the Zip Wire finale! Excellent for: stretching comfort zones, building resilience and bonding your group. For secondary schools only.
