Our PSHE-linked activities and beautiful self-contained site near Penryn will guarantee a fantastic learning experience. We offer tailor-made programmes for key stages 2-5, so pupils will be stretched and challenged, no matter their age!
As part of our Staff Training Days, we offer free class activities at various points throughout the year. We also provide Bursary Funding for pupils eligible for free school meals.

Once here you can unpack and relax! It’s our aim to make things as convenient and easy as possible, so the focus can be on having a good time. With everything on site, there’s no wasted time travelling between activities.
Inclusive for everyone
Our ‘Challenge by Choice’ approach allows pupils of all ages and abilities to stretch their comfort zones at their own pace. We also offer some accessible options, including an accessible zip wire, abseiling ramp and more.
Safe places to stay
We offer safe, comfortable accommodation with our warm cabins and spacious tents (you can stick to one or the other or do both!). All in all we can accommodate for groups of up to 150 people.
Bursary Funding & free site visits
We offer to subsidise pupils receiving free school meals* to join their peers on our day trips and residentials.
*This is currently limited to 2 x individuals funded at 50% Bursary funding per school group booking. Funding is possible as a result of donations and fundraising activities and cannot be guaranteed to be available. We’re raising funds from multiple sources to support this. One of our ways is by inviting schools to take part in a non school uniform day: wear something green, donate £1 if possible and all the funds will be added to our Bursary pot.
We also offer free site visits PLUS limited sample activity sessions for you and some children!
One final tip: during our quieter periods – September to March we can apply greater discounts.

Our Activities
Via Ferrata (secondary only)
Venture through our historic granite quarries! Scale cliff faces, brave our 70m long High Wire Bridge and finish with the Zip Wire finale! Excellent for: stretching comfort zones, building resilience and bonding your group. For secondary schools only.
Other high adventures
Climbing: Scale our climbing walls and abseil down again! Excellent for: developing communication and teamwork and overcoming fear. Accessible zip-lining: Have fun, build confidence and enjoy spectacular views!
Water activities
Quarry-steering: Leap off platforms from various heights into the quarry water! Excellent for: Pushing limits safely and building confidence. Canoing and Kayaking: Build communication/skill. Raft-building: Persevere and problem solve.
Land activities
Adventure Teambuilding Games: Build communication with fun obstacles and learn to problem solve.
Water Slide: Push new limits!
Archery Games: Develop focus and teambuilding.
Orienteering: Build life skills!
Underground Tunnels!
Step back in time, descend into darkness and take on our top secret maze…warning you may get lost! Linked to the WW2 curriculum, this is excellent for building communication, teamwork and problem solving – all whilst conquering some fears!

Indoors: We have a big adventure barn – bring your own games or use our table tennis!
Outdoors: Explore our site, play sports games in our field or light a campfire!
Instructor-led evening activities: Choose a walk, games or campfire.

Where your money goes
As a charity, we work with ~ 5,000 young people a year, of whom 500 face multiple disadvantages including rurality and poverty. Over 200 receive specialist support to face learning and/or physical disabilities, mental ill health, trauma and more. By choosing us, you’re supporting this. We see young people develop a reignited love for learning, along with increased confidence and wellbeing, with many returning to mainstream education. Your support also enables us to continue our school group programmes, which are central to our belief that every child should have the opportunity to benefit from the personal growth that outdoor adventure delivers.
