Our Youth Work and Outdoor Instructor Jobs
Catering & Housekeeping Coordinator
Fixed term, 20th April 2026 to 4th September 2026 with the possibility of a contract extension depending on booking levels. Hours: 35 hours a week with split shifts, evening shifts on Monday to Friday.
The Catering Coordinator (CC) will be the lead member of staff ensuring that the catering provision at BF Adventure (BFA), primarily focused on children’s residentials is operating to an extremely high standard in all regards.
The CC as part of their duties will be responsible for planning, purchasing and preparing food as well as maintaining excellent levels of food hygiene and ensuring excellent customer service.

Catering & Housekeeping Assistant
Fixed term, 20th April 2026 to 31st August 2026.
35 hours a week with split shifts, evening shifts. Monday to Friday.
The catering assistant will be primarily responsible for creating visually pleasing and tasty meals from our small and simple menu to groups of children on activity residentials as well as ensuring the accommodation, toilet and shower facilities are cleaned to a high standard.
As part of this, a high level of personal hygiene, an excellent work ethic and good customer service skills will be important factors in their day-to-day work.

Adventure Center Instructor
Term: 2nd March 2026– 11th September 2026 with possible extensions subject to business levels.
Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm (some evening & weekend work will be required).
The key role of a BF Adventure (BFA) Instructor is to deliver/support a range of activity instruction and programmes (dependent upon experience/qualifications) to the clients of BFA. The successful candidate will operate to a highly professional and safe standard and create an enjoyable, challenging, fun and educational environment providing equal opportunities to a wide range of often challenging individuals.

Instructor Team Leader
Fixed term, 12 months.
Hours: FT 8.30am to 4.30pm (evening & weekend work will be required).
The activity team leader will form part of the Adventure Centre (AC) and Via Ferrata Cornwall CIC (VFC) leadership team and is a key role in bridging the gap between the staff and the bookings team.
Having exceptionally high standards in time keeping, behaviour and customer service, this person will role model to the rest of the AC and VFC team the vision for all staff working for BF Adventure.
This all-year round position will be primarily responsible for the delivery of activities, mentoring junior staff and supporting in maintenance projects in the winter.

Fixed term, 8 months – March – November. Hours: FT 8.30am to 4.30pm (evening & weekend work will be required).
The activity team leader will form part of the Adventure Centre (AC) and Via Ferrata Cornwall CIC (VFC) leadership team and is a key role in bridging the gap between the Hospitality Team and Activity Centre. Having exceptionally high standards in time keeping, behaviour and customer service, this person will role model to the rest of the AC and VFC team the vision for all staff working for BF Adventure.
This seasonal position will be primarily responsible for the delivery of activities, mentoring junior staff and supporting the Hospitality Team.
