BF Adventure is in full swing with their latest project expanding the camping accommodation at their 60 acre site near Penryn. The increased accommodation will give the Charity a larger residential capacity from which the money raised will go directly to support disabled and disadvantaged young people and adults in Cornwall.
When a plea was sent to local firm, Gripsure, for non-slip timber decking for the project the company immediately responded with a huge donation of timber to the Charity.
Based in Bugle, Gripsure are leading manufacturers of non-slip timber decking, supplying non slip solutions for over ten years. With customers including the National Trust, Alton Towers, and the Eden Project as well as schools, hospitals and residential developments. Gripsure decking delivers long lasting performance and safety with all the beauty of natural timber.
Mike Nicholson, Gripsure MD: ‘When possible we like to support and raise money for charities, and we are delighted to be able to help a local Charity. We are happy knowing that our non-slip decking will be used to help people make the most of their time outdoors at BF Adventures safely, and active all year round come rain or shine. You can rely on Gripsure to keep you on your feet.’
The non-slip timber decking will be used to provide ramps and walkways around the site, especially the residential area to improve the access and facilities and make them accessible to all.
Adrian Richards CEO at BF Adventure said: ‘This has been an incredible donation from Gripsure, having non-slip decking and ramps will make a huge difference to the residential area and make it more accessible and safer for all users. We would like to say a huge thank you to Gripsure, we were very impressed with the prompt reply and delivery when the request was sent. It is local companies and donations to the Charity that really help us make a difference to young people in Cornwall.’
