BF Adventure will be attending The Patron’s Lunch in London

On Sunday 12th June 2016, BF Adventure is proud to be visiting London to celebrate The Queen’s patronage of more than 600 charities and organisations on the occasion of Her Majesty’s 90th birthday at The Patron’s Lunch.

The event will see The Mall transformed into its largest ever street party with 10,000 people seated for a hamper style lunch.

BF Adventure is one of three Cornish charities attending, all former winners of the Queens award; the others are CHICKS and Truro Amateur Boxing Club

Representing BF Adventure will be Adrian Richards CEO, John Meakin a former NEET Client whom the charity supported through confidence building programmes and learning new skills, an apprenticeship and whom is now a leading instructor in the team. Bernadette snow, a long-time community volunteer with 5 years’ experience at BF Adventure supporting our disadvantaged young people and whom is now a full time member of the team.

Adrian Richards says:

‘It’s an honour to be invited to this event and to be chosen to celebrate with over 600 charities supported by HM the Queen. It reflects upon the fantastic work that the volunteers and team at BF Adventure do and what has been achieved in supporting some of Cornwall’s most disadvantaged young people. We really do help build positive futures and it’s great to know that the difference we make is recognised at the highest levels.’
