Accessibility statement

Here at BF Adventure we are committed to giving everyone an enjoyable and inclusive experience and will do our utmost wherever we can to accommodate those with additional support needs. We hope you find the information below helpful and would love to hear from you if you have questions.

Our site’s accessibility

Whilst our site is rugged by nature consisting of several old Granite Quarries with rough tracks and footpaths we will always endeavour to make the site and our wide range of outdoor and adventurous activities as inclusive and accessible as possible.

The majority of our buildings are wheelchair accessible, our main entrance carpark includes an accessible toilet and we have a fully equipped ‘Changing spaces’ specification toilet, shower and changing facility onsite.

Our team of instructors are training to facilitate access to our range of onsite activities supporting those with visible and invisible disabilities.

Our activities

We provide support for disabled children and young people and those with special educational and emotional needs; offering a range of inclusive activities to meet their needs. We do our best to adapt activities where possible to make them accessible. These include Paddlesports, Adventure Quarry games, Low Ropes, an accessible zip wire, archery, a wheelchair friendly abseil ramp and accessible indoor climbing.

Other activities require a larger degree of mobility (see some examples with the medical restrictions below). However we will endeavour to facilitate access to our activities for those with a disability and/or additional support needs.
